Kent Power Utility Services, LLC was founded in 2021 by Troy Kent to bring proven utility construction know-how to everyday projects — the kind homeowners and small business owners actually need, without industrial bid timelines or nationwide crew mobilization.
We handle the same categories of work that define professional utility contractors — distribution, service lines, gas infrastructure, and storm response — but sized for residential streets, rental properties, rural acreage, and local storefronts around Rockford and greater Grand Rapids.
Troy Kent — licensed, insured, safety-first crews with clear written estimates before work starts.
Kent Power Utility Services, LLC is a separate local company founded in 2021 and focused on residential and small-business utility work. We apply the same professional standards — distribution, gas, and storm response — at a scale suited to homeowners and local shops.
Panel upgrades, new service lines, gas meter sets, pole and overhead repairs, storm damage, and small commercial tie-ins. We do not bid large transmission or substation construction — for that scale, contact a regional utility contractor directly.
Rockford, Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Kentwood, Walker, Cedar Springs, and communities within roughly 50 miles of our Rockford office. Call if you are outside that radius.
